MiraCosta Masterworks Chorale

The MiraCosta Masterworks Chorale is a large ensemble that rehearses and performs major works and repertoire for advanced musicians.

Who sings with us? In addition to the music majors, our choir gratefully relies on the support and participation of experienced choral singers from the community to join with other credit students to sing college-level repertoire and receive instruction in vocal production, sight-reading, ensemble singing, diction, and musicianship. The study of secular and sacred music is included. Concert performance, the product of the class, may include work with orchestra or instrumental ensemble.

How do I audition?  Auditions are required. Singers who are new to the chorale are invited to attend the first rehearsal and stay afterward for a brief audition and voice placement.
